Budgam: An OGW (Over Ground Worker) of LeT (Lashkr-e-Toiba) outfit was arrested on Wednesday in central Kashmir’s Budgam district in a case related to the Narco-Militancy Funding module, police said.
The accused has been identified as Showkat Ahmed Ganie alias RK, son of Late Mohammad Kamal Ganie and a resident of Chadoora has been arrested.
In a statement, a police spokesperson said that during the course of the investigation pertaining to the busting of the Naro-Militancy Funding module, one associate was arrested.

The statement reads it came to the fore that the arrested OGW was involved in providing logistic support to LeT by distributing proceeds of narcotics to active militants and operatives of the outfit.
It added that further investigation into the case was going on.
Earlier, four OGWs were arrested in the same district and several vehicles were seized.
