Kupwara: An OGW (overground worker) has been arrested at a checkpoint with two pistols and 10 hand grenades being recovered from his possession in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday.
According to officals, a joint team of the military, BSF and police established a checkpoint and apprehended an OGW identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Lone in Kupwara.
“During the search, two pistols with magazines, 10 hand grenades and 54 nine mm rounds were recovered from the possession of the accused, they said.
