Srinagar: Hours after a drowning incident was reported in Villgam area, another teenage boy drowned in Dorousa of Lolab area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
As per reports, 19-year-old Mohammad Aqib Dar, son of Ishtiyaque Ahmad Dar, resident of Bhat Mohalla Dorousa have drowned in the pond.
The teenager boy was part of a group who were bathing in a pond.
The colleagues and locals first tried to look for him on their own, however, later Sogam police were called. An army unit also came for rescue operation.
When this report was being filed, the teenager was yet to be traced.
