Srinagar: A non-local working as a bank manager at Grameen Bank escaped unhurt after militants fired at him in the Goshbugh area in north Kashmir’s Pattan on Monday.
The manager was identified as Vivek Kumar. His native place was not known.
The attack comes when the entire region of Jammu and Kashmir is beefed up with additional troop deployment and multiple checkposts ahead of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s Visit.
