Srinagar: An Encounter (anti-militancy operation) has started at Chatpora area of Pulwama, south Kashmir on the intervening night of Sunday-Monday, police said.
"Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow," police added.
Earlier, after four militants were killed on Sunday in two separate encounters, IGP Vijay Kumar said that the military operations especially against Pakistani militants will be intensified across North, South, and central Kashmir.
