Hajin: A six year old boy was killed in a road accident in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said on Thursday.
He has been identified as Haris Ahmad Hurra (6) son of Mushtaq Ahmad, a resident of Parray Mohalla in north Kashmir’s Hajin, district Bandipora.
As per reports, he was hit by a Heavy Motor Vehicle (Chota Haathi) outside his house.
He was immediately shifted to the nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.
A police officer said that the body has been handed over to the family members after completing medico legal formalities.
The driver has been arrested and the vehicle was also seized, he said, adding that further investigation has been set into motion.
