Kupwara: The Indian military has refuted claims that military personnel beat up policemen in Kupwara, calling the allegations "misfounded and incorrect."
In a brief statement, the military said: "Rebuttal regarding altercation between police and army personnel and beating up therein of police personnel are misfounded and incorrect."
The statement further clarified: "Minor differences between the police personnel and a territorial army unit on an operational matter have been amicably resolved."
