Jammu: 20-year-old MBBS student Yameen from Peer Bagh Area of Srinagar was found dead in his Jammu residence at Asarabad Flat Sidhra in Jammu, Police said on Thursday morning.
He was pursuing MBBS from ASCOMS Batra in Jammu.
He was brought to GMC in unconscious condition on Wednesday evening and declared dead on arrival by the doctors.
However, the cause of the death was not immediately ascertained.
Confirming the death of the student, Police Post Incharge Sidhra Jammu Shakil Ahmad told GNS that an Inquiry Officer has been deputed for verification into the incident.
“Investigations are on to ascertain the cause of death of the student”, the official said.
