Srinagar: A man stabbed his brother with a knife over a property dispute in Srinagar’s Gojwora area on Sunday late evening.
News agency KNO quoted an official saying that a man has stabbed his brother in Srinagar’s Gojwora over a property dispute.
The victim, identified as Bilal Ahmad Geelani has been shifted to the hospital and a case has been registered in this regard, he said.
Also, the accused identified as Hilal Ahmad Geelani has been arrested, he added.
Meanwhile. Srinagar police posted on X (formerly known as Twitter): “Hilal Ah geelani S/o Noor Md geelani R/o Lal Bazar, Sgr arrested for stabbing his brother Bilal Ah Geelani with sharp edged object. The brothers have familial property dispute. Victim is grievously injured & shifted to hospital. FIR no 29/2023 u/s 307,326,341 of IPC in Nowhatta PS."
