Srinagar: A man lost both of his limbs in a ‘suicide’ bid after jumping on the railway track of a moving train in the Sadura area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.
A man ‘jumped in front’ of a moving train, on his way from Banihal to Baramulla, near Sadura as a result both of his legs were lost, they said.
The official identified the person as Mohammad Ashraf Itoo and a resident of Gopal Pora-Mattan. However, his age wasn’t immediately known.
The police have taken cognizance of the incident for necessary investigations.
