Delina, Jan 6 — A man was found dead under mysterious circumstances near a mosque in the Ratherpora area of Delina in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday, officials said.
“The deceased is a resident of Ratherpora, Delina, and his body was found near the local mosque,” an official said.
Police reached the spot soon after the body was noticed and took it into custody for medico-legal formalities, officials added.
“A case has been registered and an investigation has been launched to ascertain the cause of death,” the official said.
