Pulwama: A man drowns to death while extracting sand from a river in the Kakapora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Showkat Ahmad Lone, son of Mohd Akber Lone and a resident of Lelhar, Kakapora.
According to reports, the unfortunate incident occurred when the man was extracting sand from the Kakapora River.
