Kupwara: A 60-year-old man died after allegedly being hit by a passenger bus in the Lolab area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.
As per reports, a bus bearing registration number JK05 2766 hit a man identified as Abdul Khaliq Chopan, son of Mohammad Subhan Chopan.
The person was immediately evacuated to SDH (Sub-district hospital) Sogam, where the doctors however declared him brought dead.
Confirming the casualty, a police official said that cognizance has been taken for an investigation.
