Tral, Dec 4: A local military man from the Territorial Army (TA) was shot at by militants in the Sofigund Aripal area of South Kashmir’s Tral on Wednesday evening, according to police.
He has been identified as Delhair Mushtaq, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi, and a resident of Sofigund Khanagund.
A police officer said he suffered injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the forces have cordoned off the area.
