Handwara: Police said that a local ‘militant’ was ‘apprehended’ by a joint team of forces in north Kashmir’s Handwara on Monday.
He has been identified as Zakir Hamid Mir, a resident of the Kachri area in Yaroo. However, the police did not disclose his age.
“A joint team of forces arrested a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant in Kacrhi village of Handwara who was tasked to do soft killings,” police said.
