LG, Unionists Condemn Shalla Kadal Attack

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir’s administrator, LG Sinha, along with Kashmiri unionists, unequivocally denounced the militant attack that killed two non-local carpenters last night.

In a post on X, LG said: “I am deeply shocked and saddened by the heinous terror attack in Srinagar on Amritpal & Rohit from Amritsar. I condemn in strongest terms this brutal act, which has snuffed out an innocent life. In this hour of grief, I convey my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.”

“No efforts will be spared to bring the perpetrators to justice. Directed the Civil & Police administration to ensure all assistance to the families,” the post added.

Moreover, JKNC and JKPDP also condemned the attack.

“Violence should have no place in our society and such acts of barbarity only serve to hinder the progress & peace we strive for,” JKNC said in a post.

“Deeply disheartened by the dastardly attack,” JKPDP said.

Also, other political party leaders including People’s Conference Chief Sajad Lone, CPI (M) leader Yousuf Tarigami and BJP leader, Manzoor Bhat also condemned the attack.
