Srinagar: Pampore Police on Monday arrested one accused lady drug peddler with one kg and 800 grams of charas (hash) powder in Pampore town of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
In a statement, Police said that acting on specific information, police station Pampore headed by SHO Syed Aqeel Shah under the supervision of SDPO Pampore Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir placed a special naka (checkpoint) at Gallander and arrested one lady drug peddler identified as Safeeqa Begum w/o Mohammad Shaban Ganie r/o Lelhar Kakapora.
“01kg and 800 grms of charas powder was recovered from the possession of the said lady drug peddler, the statement reads.
