Kupwara: A 19-year-old youth was critically injured after allegedly being attacked by his neighbour with a knife in Buhama village of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday, according to the officials.
An official identified the youth as Muneer Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Qadir Dar and a resident of Buhama.
He was injured after being attacked by his neighbour and immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where he was referred to GMC Baramulla, he said.
Dr. Parvaiz Masoodi, the Medical Superintendent of GMC Baramulla, confirmed that the youth has sustained grievous injuries and is currently undergoing surgery.
