Srinagar: Several labourers are feared to have died after a tunnel at Khooni Nallah Makerkote area in Ramban district reportedly caved in late Thursday evening, official sources said.
As per reports, the tunnel collapsed leaving many persons trapped under the debris.
“All those trapped belong to SARLA Company which had started the work of an audit tunnel a few days back at Khonillah tunnel NHW44”, they said.
“108 and 102 Ambulances are heading towards the site from SDH Banihal," they further said adding there may be several casualties in the incident.
