Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported 727 covid-19 cases and two people died -one from each region during the last 24 hours, officials said on Friday.
They said that 206 cases were reported from Jammu region and 521 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally 463359.
Two deaths, one each from Kashmir Valley and Jammu division took the overall death toll due to the pathogen to 4768.
Besides, they said, 572 Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours—346 from Jammu division and 226 from Kashmir Valley. There are now 4468 active cases— 1813 in Jammu and 2655 in Kashmir.
Providing district wise details of the cases, they said, Jammu reported 134 cases, Srinagar 246, Udhampur 7, Rajouri 10, Doda 9, Kathua 5, Samba 12, Kishtwar 1i, Poonch 6, Ramban 3, Reasi 1, Baramulla 94, Budgam 42, Pulwama 8, Kupwara 49, Anantnag 35, Bandipora 13, Ganderbal 12, Kulgam 21 and Shopian 1.
They also informed that 15607 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
