Srinagar: Parts of Kashmir on Wednesday, including the commercial hub of Lal Chowk in the heart of Srinagar city observed a shutdown against the eviction/demolition/anti-encroachment drives on ‘state land’ launched by the Jammu and Kashmir administration under LG Manoj Sinha.
Shops and other business establishments remained closed in most parts of Srinagar and also in south Kashmir’s Anantnag town.
