Baramulla: Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday visited the house of slain policeman, Mudasir Sheikh, who was killed in Kreeri, Baramulla encounter (military operation) last Wednesday.
LG accompanied by other officials visited the slain policeman’s family at Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district and expressed condolences to his parents and other members of the family.
Last Wednesday, three Pakistani militants of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit were killed in an encounter at Kreeri area of Baramulla district – as per police- during which a policeman identified as Mudasir Ahmad, a resident of Uri lost his life.
