A Palestinian teen who was injured on Sunday in Israeli military gunfire succumbed to his injuries on Monday. according to media reports.
He has been identified as 15-year-old Muhammad Tariq Abu Sneina, a resident of the West Bank town of Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem.
He sustained injuries after Israeli forces stationed on Al-Wad Street in the Old City opened heavy gunfire, leaving him bleeding for a period of time.
With the killing of Abu Sneina, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in occupied Jerusalem has risen to 8 since October 7.
