Srinagar: The Jammu-Srinagar highway also called NH-44 remained closed on Wednesday as shooting stones continued to hamper road clearance work at the Shalgadi Banihal area in J&K’s Ramban district, officials said.
“Highway is still closed. Restoration work is underway. People are advised not to travel on the highway till the restoration work is completed,” a traffic department official said.
The shooting stones continue to hamper the road clearance work, he added.
