Israel launched fresh airstrikes against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon on Saturday.
The Israeli artillery units hit the town of Rmaish in southern Lebanon.
The fresh attack comes after Hezbollah Chief, Nasrallah on Friday addressed people and confirmed that 57 of its fighters have been killed since 8 October.
In his lengthy remarks, Nasrallah said that “all scenarios are open on our Lebanese southern front” and that “what happens on the Lebanese front will depend on what happens in Gaza”, calling on Israel to stop its attacks on the besieged strip to avoid a regional conflagration.
At least 9,500 people have been killed in Israeli air strikes since Oct 7 including 3,900 children and 2,509 women with an estimated 2,200 people, including 1,250 children, buried under the rubble in Gaza.
