The Israeli military has launched air attacks on the besieged strip of Gaza after rockets were fired from overnight in response to the Jenin operation.

As per reports, Israel forces withdrew from the Palestinian city of Jenin after launching one of its biggest assaults on the occupied West Bank in decades, killing at least 12 Palestinians in Jenin and one in Ramallah and injuring more than 50 during the two-day “raid.”

In retaliation, five rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip by Hamas on early Wednesday.

However, no injuries were reported from the rocket attack, and the Israeli military said the country’s air-defense system had intercepted all five.
