Israel Bombs Gaza Convoys, Killing 70; Journalist Group Hit in Lebanon

In the ongoing Israel-Palestine war, Israel killed 70 people, mostly women and children and injured 200 more after bombarding convoys fleeing Gaza City with Israeli shelling hitting a group of reporters in southern Lebanon, killing one Reuters journalist and wounding several others, including two from Al Jazeera.

Reportedly thousands of Palestinians have been fleeing North Gaza as Israel ordered 1.1 million Palestinians to vacate ahead of an expected ground invasion.ย

โ€œIsrael ordered people to leave and evacuate their homes and once they do, the warplanes bomb and kill them,โ€ a female journalist said while reporting in the area.ย

Moreover, Reuters video journalist identified as Issam Abdallah has been killed and three colleagues were wounded after their press vehicle was reportedly hit by an Israeli airstrike in the village of Alma al Shaab, located in southern Lebanon on the border, reports said.

Reuters confirmed the story on Friday in a statement.ย

โ€œWe are deeply saddened to learn that our videographer, Issam Abdallah, has been killed,โ€ reads the statement.ย

"We are urgently seeking more information, working with authorities in the region, and supporting Issamโ€™s family and colleagues," Reuters added.

Nearly 1800 Palestinians were killed and 7000 injured in Israeli air attacks on Gaza. The number of Israeli people killed reached 1,300, with more than 3,000 wounded and over 1,500 Hamas fighters killed in โ€œIsraelโ€.
