Israel Attacks Palestinian Christians On Easter In Jerusalem

Israeli forces attacked Christian Palesitnians during Holy Saturday’s Easter commemorations, MEM reported.
 
Easter, also called Pascha or Resurrection is a Christian festival – commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.
 
This comes after Israeli government-imposed restrictions on visits by Christian Palestinians and tourists to visit Jerusalem’s Church of Holy Sepulchre against which the Greek Orthodox Church slammed Israel and called it Israel’s “heavy-handed restrictions” on freedom of worship as Christians prepare to celebrate Easter in occupied East Jerusalem.
 
Violence also sparked on Saturday when Christian worshippers thronged the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem to celebrate the ceremony
 
Jerusalem is considered holy by three Abrahamic religions of Islam, Christianity and Judaism.
