Srinagar: In the last two years, a total of 5,601 cases of ceasefire violations have taken place along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir till November 29th, said (Minister of State) Defence, Ajay Bhatt in Rajya Sabha (Upper House of the Indian Parliament) on Monday.
Bhatt said that under the operational control of the Indian Army in Jammu & Kashmir from 30 Nov 2019 to 29 Nov 2021, a total of 5,601 incidents of ceasefire violations have been reported.
“Substantial damage was inflicted on Pak posts and personnel during retaliation by the Indian Army,” said MoS Defence India.
