Reasi: An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) along with arms and ammunition was recovered by forces in Jammu region’s Reasi district on Sunday, according to officials.
An official said that on Sunday morning at around 09:00 am, a party of government forces found explosive devices along with arms and ammunition in the general area of Kot Budhan forest.
“One IED with 9 electric detonators, 3 pistols, 3 magazines, 20 pistol rounds, 1kg of explosives (Powder Type), 15 AK 47 rounds, 6 AK 47 fired cases, eight 8.9 Volt DC batteries, three Lithium Ion 12 volt batteries, 3 electric wire bundles (Approximately 50 meters), 10 AA Bty (1.2 V), 6 large-sized magnets, 7 explosive safety fuses, 1 blanket, 3 dressing bandages, 2 syringes, and 8 meters of rope were recovered,” he said.

A case has been registered in this regard, and investigation has been initiated, he added.
