Srinagar: Police and government forces on Tuesday detected an (IED) Improvised Explosive Device alike a cylinder with five kg firecrackers in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
“On the specific information, Pulwama police, Amry – 55 RR and CRPF 182/BN found a gas cylinder fitted with firecrackers weighing 05 kgs – planted at Litter Chowdribagh road to harm the security forces,” an official said.
The explosive cylinder was defused on the spot and no injuries were reported, the officer added.
