Srinagar: The Government Psychiatric Diseases Hospital, located at Kathi Darwaza, Rainawari, has issued a strong rebuttal against a misleading report that has been circulating in certain sections of the media, falsely suggesting that the de-addiction services provided by the hospital have been suspended.
In a statement to The Himalayan Post, the Medical Superintendent of the Psychiatric Diseases Hospital (IMHANS-K), clarified that there is no truth to the claims made in the report.
He stated that all services, including In-Patient Department (IPD), Out-Patient Department (OPD), and other services, will continue to operate without any interruption. This includes both the services offered at the Psychiatric Diseases Hospital in Kathi Darwaza, Rainawari, and the Community General Hospital Unit situated within the SMHS complex.
“The hospital is committed to provide essential mental health and de-addiction services to the community. I urge the public to disregard the misleading information and assure that the hospital’s operations will proceed as per the normal routine,” he said.
