Srinagar: A boy was injured after suspected militants on Sunday evening hurled a grenade towards a CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) vehicle in the MK Chowk area of Hawal in Srinagar city.
In a Tweet, Srinagar police that the grenade was hurled toward a CRPF vehicle in a crowded area. However, it missed the target and injured a minor boy.
“There was an attempt to throw grenade de on a CRPF vehicle in a crowded ed area of MK chowk it missed the target & caused splinter injury to one local boy. Operations launched in the area to nab the culprit,” police tweeted.
