Srinagar: The body of another person was recovered who was feared dead after an avalanche hit central Kashmir’s Ganderbal on Thursday morning, the death toll has reached two.
An official said that the body of the second person, whose mobile phone was intercepted on the tracking system, was recovered after intense efforts launched by the various agencies at the site.
"Earlier body of a person, seemingly that of a laborer, was recovered at the (Sarbal) site", the official said.
"The rescue operation is going on in and around the affected site to respond to any eventuality", the official further said.
