Srinagar: Four militants were killed in three separate military operations across Kashmir on Friday night while one has been arrested by the police in Ganderbal, Central Kashmir.
Two of them (militants) belong to Jash-e-Mohammad and two with Lashker-e-Toiba, IGP Vijay Kumar said.
Two JeM militants were killed in overnight gunfight at Chewaklan area in Pulwama, south Kashmir while two LeT based in handwara-Kupwara, north Kashmir. However, the operation is ongoing In Ganderbal, central Kashmir where one militants have been arrested, he said.

Police and forces had launched joint operations at 4-5 locations last night, IGP said.
The subsequent operations against militants came after two sarpanchs were shot dead.
Meanwhile, police have identified few militants as follows; Kamaal Bhai alias Jatt of Pakistan killed in Pulwama, active since 2018 and Suhail Gulzar of Kulgam killed In Kupwara.
