Srinagar: Three local militants were killed in a military operation in the Draach area of Keegam, South Kashmir’s Shopian district on the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday, Police said.
They have been identified as Saqib – resident of karimabad, Pulwama, Zubair –resident of dumpora, Shopian and Jamsheed from Rajpora area of Pulwama.
Their age was not mentioned by the officials, however, the available photographs show the militants were teenagers.

Pertinently, another local militant identified as Arif Rashid Wani was killed in another encounter at Moolu area in the same district.
