Srinagar: Police and government forces on Wednesday detected an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, official sources said.
They said that IED was found at Srinagar- Baramulla Highway near Pattan and later defused by the (BDS) Bomb Disposal Squad.
Meanwhile, officials said the traffic will be resumed shortly on the highway as it was temporarily halted due to the IED detection.
