Udhampur: At least 20 persons were injured after a steel bridge collapsed during Baisakhi (holy Sikh festival) Fair in Beni-Sangam in Chenani tehsil of Jammu’s Udhampur district on Friday, officials said.
SDM Chenani Parvaiz Naik said that around 20 persons were injured in the incident.
He said rescue operation is underway and police and other teams have reached the site.
"The injured have been rushed to hospital for treatment", he said, adding that toll of injured may rise.”
