Srinagar, Jan 11: A fire erupted at Palpoora in the Sonwar area of Srinagar on Saturday evening, officials said.
According to an official, the blaze affected a residential house.
“The Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) department has responded and is currently working to control the fire,” he said.
“The attic of a three-story residential house is engulfed in flames. Further details are awaited,” the official added.
