Srinagar: A fire engulfed a two-storey shopping complex in Lal Chowk, located in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The complex, owned by Rayees Ahmad Narchoor, son of Abdul Hamid Narchoor, is situated at Reshi Bazar in the Lal Chowk area of the town.
Upon receiving the alert, the Fire & Emergency Services Department promptly arrived at the scene and initiated a rescue operation.
At the time of filing this report, efforts to control the fire were still ongoing.
