Srinagar: A mosque and several residential houses were damaged in a massive fire that broke out in the Umer Colony area of Srinagar’s Eidgah, officials reported.
According to the news agency KNO, an official mentioned that the fire started in Umer Colony this morning, and fire tenders immediately responded to the scene.
He added that by the time the fire tenders arrived, a local mosque and several houses had already been damaged.
Efforts are currently underway to extinguish the flames.
