Bandipora: A 45-year-old man and father of four died after his boat capsized in Wular Lake near Kanbathi village in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday morning.
Locals said that Mushtaq Ahmad Kawa was on his way to catch fish when his boat capsized in Wular Lake.
"Upon receiving news of the boat capsizing, a swift rescue operation was launched in Wular Lake; however, only the body of the deceased was recovered," they said.
People who accompanied Kawa to Wular Lake expressed profound shock over his untimely demise and offered prayers for peace to his departed soul.
