Jammu: Explosives wrapped in the form of gelatin sticks have been found inside a passenger bus in Jammu on Wednesday and destroyed through controlled mechanism, police said.
“During a routine security exercise, explosives in the form of gelatin sticks were recovered from a public transport bus at Jhajjar Kotli in Jammu,” a police spokesperson said.
“BDS was called on and an explosive was detonated through a controlled mechanism," he said.
He said a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in police station Jhajjar Kotli.
“Investigation is underway,” he said.
