Srinagar: An earthquake of 5.4 magnitude jolted Kashmir valley on Tuesday afternoon.
News Agency KNO quoted Deputy Director Meteorological department saying that the tremor, measured 5.4 on Richter scale, had its epicentre in Chenab region’s Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir at a depth of 6 km.
The earthquake occurred at around 01:33 PM.
