Pulwama: An encounter (military operation) broke out between militants and forces at Parigam village of Newa hamlet in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday, officials said.
As per officials, the operation is being carried out by a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF.
In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter, the Police said: “Encounter had started in Larrow- Parigam area of #Pulwama. Police & Security Forces are on the job. Details shall follow.”
As per the sources, two to three militants are believed to be trapped in the area.
