Egypt has closed its Rafah border with Gaza by erecting a concrete wall preventing Palestinians from fleeing the Israeli bombardment in the region.
Reports said that Egyptian authorities have taken further measures to strengthen the border by installing high concrete barriers.
The construction of this wall began in 2020 and has gained momentum due to the ongoing war.
Palestinians in northern Gaza have sought refuge in the south and some considered crossing into Egypt, however, Egypt President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has maintained his position of not allowing them into Egyptian territory, urging them to stay in their land.
