Doda Police Books Govt Employee Over Facebook Post

Doda: A government employee, posted at the Class-IV level in the office of the Chief Education office in Chenab region’s Doda was booked on Thursday by police for uploading ‘hateful comments’ on his Facebook post. 

He was identified as Amrik Singh, son of the Late Ranbir Singh and a resident of the Beoli area in J&K’s Doda district and posted as a Class-IV employee in the office of the Chief Education officer, Doda.

As per Doda police, he was found to have uploaded hateful posts/comments on his Facebook account and in consequence of this there was every apprehension of the eruption of law and order problems in the District. 

Recently, Jammu and Kashmir’s administration under LG Manoj Sinha directed all administrative secretaries to monitor social media networks to identify employees who are making unfavorable comments on government policies and issue notices to them.
