Srinagar: Around 4.78 percent of polling was recorded during the first two hours of voting in the Drugmulla district development council seat on Monday.
The re-polls started at 7 AM in 42 polling stations established in the Constituency.

An official said that 1569 votes were polled in the first two hours in the seat with a total electorate of 32776.

The election in the seat is being dubbed as a โsemi-finalโ between National Conference and the Peoples Conference before assembly elections in J&K.

While PC is supporting Shabnam Lone, who is fighting the election on the PDP ticket, the National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party, who are constituents of PAGD, are supporting separate independent candidates.
