Kupwara: Five health officials were suspended at PHC (Primary Healthcare Center), Unisoo, Langate in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday after Deputy commissioner Kupwara, Doifode Sagar Dattatray found them absent during a surprise inspection.
The officials include medical official Dr. Feroz Ahmad Khan, senior pharmacist Fayaz Ahmad Dar, pharmacist Aijaz Ahmad Mir, ISM (Indian System of Medicine) pharmacist Tahir Ahmad and FMPHW (Female Multipurpose Health Worker) Kulsuma Bano.
According to an order, the employees were found absent from their duties during a surprise visit by the deputy commissioner, Kupwara today.
Directing absentees to explain their position, the order reads; “Explain your position within 24 hours, failing which it shall be presumed that you have nothing to say in defense.”
