Srinagar: A truck conductor died of an electric shock when a truck HMV (Heavy Motor Vehicle) hit an electric pole in the Shalteng area of Srinagar on Saturday evening.
An official said that the truck hit an electrical pole at Shalteng Chowk due to which the conductor received an electric shock and died while the driver got injured.
He said that the conductor was shifted to JVC hospital where the doctor declared him dead on arrival.
The condition of the driver is said to be stable, he said.
